- Pays a lump sum benefit upon diagnosis of a covered critical illness: heart attack, stroke, major organ failure, permanent paralysis, end-stage renal (kidney) failure, coronary artery bypass surgery, coma, brain tumor, blindness, occupational HIV, internal cancer and carcinoma in-situ.
